PlugFacts gives typical figures and estimates based on official data and manufacturer information. Your own appliance, usage and electricity tariff may differ, sometimes a lot. Use the figures as a guide, not as a promise of what you will pay or what a product will do.

Safety

Information about generators, power stations and electrical loads is general. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions. Never run a generator indoors, in a garage or near open windows. Any connection to your home's wiring must be made by a qualified electrician.
